Rules Due to Covid-19 & Mandatory Waiver

Important Update Regarding our June 12-14th Show! It's A GO!

It’s a GO but with a few changes!
EOWGA has worked hard to make this 2020 Show Season possible!

❗️Our first club show of the season will be this weekend - June 12th-14th at an alternate location to what we originally planned, the new location is 1195 Hinch Road, Newburgh, ON❗️

  • All entries must be submitted online by Thursday June 11th at 9pm. Entry prices shown online.

  • All memberships forms are also to be filled out online. Pricing is shown online.

  • All memberships, sponsorships, entry fees and grounds fees must be E-TRANSFERRED (no cash the day-of the show other than for expos, $5 each) IMPORTANT - please include details in the Message section of your e-transfer so we know exactly who is paying for what.

  • Send all e-transfers to kkelly_75@hotmail.com and no password is required as it’s set up for auto deposit.

  • No scratches or additions of classes the day/weekend of the show. No refunds.

  • There will not be a canteen

  • There will not be a potluck on Saturday evening

  • This show is only open to previous members or a new member only if they live within 150kms of Napanee. If you have attended a previous EOWGA show with us before, that means you can come to this show.

  • Winners will be paid-our their total winnings via etransfer as well, these will be completed by Wednesday June 17th at 10pm. No payouts will be given throughout the weekend of the show.

  • All riders and attendees must practice physical distancing.

  • No spectators.

  • All attendees must bring their own hand sanitizer and have not had contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 or have symptoms of Covid-19.

  • If you need help figuring out your total amount owing, submit your membership and entries online and then PM me Kerri Lee Griffin on Facebook or email her at kerrig@mbcmedia.ca and she can get back to you with your total.

New Changes for the 2020 Season

       Our club is forever growing and evolving. Our volunteers, executive and directors are constantly looking for new ideas of show formats, rules, fundraisers, etc. This year we are changing things up just a little bit to give it a try. You never know unless you try right? 

      The first change or something new that we are going to try out is happening on the Saturday portion of our weekend show in Napanee on July 25th. We are partnering with OBRA on this day. We will post more details closer to the date, but costs, entry fees, etc will stay close to the same for our riders, BUT the plus side to OBRA is that they offer a 4-D format! This will not affect our pointed show day on the Sunday of that weekend. 

      The next change is going to affect our Peewee riders...in a good way! This year we will be offering a 2D format with a full-second split for our Peewee (12 & Under) division. There must be twelve or more riders in the class to run the 2D format. If there are between ten and twelve riders we will pay back to 5th place, and if there are ten or less riders in the class we will pay back to 3rd place. Also, for all peewee members, they will receive year-end prizes/awards regardless of placing. Yes, there will be High Point and Reserve High Point awards given, but we feel that all the peewee members deserve to be rewarded for their efforts.

       Lastly, we have a new show location on the roster for 2020. We are going to be spending the August 14th-16th weekend at Branded Blue Ranch on Wolfe Island. This ranch is owned and operated by Chad Hulton, one of our new Senior Directors. Yes, you do have to take the ferry over. Chad will help coordinate with the ferry operators to ensure we get "first dibs" for select reserved times on the ferry. We will post a sign up sheet online closer to the show so you may reserve your time to cross on the ferry. There will be limited reservations at certain times. We look forward to trying out this new location and we hope that our members will enjoy the change of scenery. 

      We look forward to seeing familiar and new faces this year for the 2020 season! It's going to be a great one for our third season as EOWGA.
